Head of Credit & Receivables | Sydney Tools
Sydney Tools is looking for an experienced Head of Credit & Receivables to lead and strengthen our broader credit and receivables function.
With 128 stores and more than 1,500 team members nationally, this is a key leadership position with responsibility across credit management, accounts receivable, collections, risk, controls and team performance.
Reporting into senior Finance leadership, you will lead a team of approximately 10 and take ownership of how the business manages customer credit, outstanding debt and the continued development of our credit processes.
The role:Lead, develop and drive performance across a Credit & Receivables team of approximately 10Oversee the end-to-end credit management and collections functionManage customer credit risk, credit limits, approvals and escalationsDrive improvements across ageing, overdue debt, recovery strategies and cash collectionStrengthen credit controls, policies, processes and reportingMonitor portfolio performance and identify emerging credit risksBuild greater accountability, capability and consistency across the teamPartner closely with Finance, Sales and senior leadershipIdentify opportunities to improve systems, automation and operational efficiency
About you:You will be an experienced credit, receivables or collections leader who is comfortable taking ownership of a broad function.
You'll bring strong people leadership skills, sound commercial judgement and the ability to balance effective credit control with maintaining positive customer and internal stakeholder relationships.
Experience leading teams within a high-volume, multi-site or complex commercial environment will be highly regarded.
Experience managing or working with offshore finance, credit or receivables teams will be highly advantageous.
