Depot Service Engineer (Level 3) - Medical Devices

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, service, and repair medical devices in accordance with approved procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues using appropriate tools, software, and escalation processes.
• Maintain accurate service records, equipment data, and documentation in line with Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
• Meet service KPIs and support efficient service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide professional technical support to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Participate in required product, technical, and compliance training.
• Support after-hours work, on-call activities, and travel as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in healthcare, medical devices, or a similar technical service environment preferred.
• Strong electro-mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills.
• General Hand tools and approved diagnostic tools and a DMM
• Ability to interpret and follow service manuals, technical documentation, wiring diagrams, service bulletins, and troubleshooting guides.
• Applies a logical and methodical approach to troubleshooting while maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and documentation requirements.
• Ability to accurately document troubleshooting activities, findings, corrective actions, and test results in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and company quality standards.
• Proficient with standard computer applications and service management systems.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
