About the role
The City of Salisbury is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Asset Management Officer to join the Infrastructure Management team within City Infrastructure on a 2.5-year fixed-term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled asset management professional to provide specialist expertise in the governance, management and continuous improvement of Council's Geographic Information System (GIS) and Asset Management Information Systems. Working closely with asset managers, project managers and operational teams, you will ensure the integrity, accuracy and accessibility of asset and spatial data to support evidence-based decision making, infrastructure planning, capital investment and service delivery across the organisation.
As part of this key fixed-term role, you will help drive improvements to Council's asset information, systems integration and strategic asset management capabilities, supporting the delivery of long-term infrastructure outcomes for our growing community.

About you:
You are a collaborative and solutions-focused asset management professional with extensive experience in GIS, asset information systems and strategic asset management. You combine strong technical capability with excellent stakeholder engagement skills and have a proven ability to lead initiatives that improve systems, processes and asset data quality.
You take ownership of your work, demonstrate high professional standards and enjoy working across multiple projects while building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
