Trade Assistant

We are in search of a trade assistant, we have a full time position available!

If you are someone who has manufacturing/factory hand experience or you're a school leaver looking for a start, we could have the position for you!

About the Role:

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Surface preparation for painting of tanks

• Grinding of various metal parts

• Cutting and drilling of various parts

• Working within timeframes to meet production schedules

• Ensuring that your work has the greatest attention to detail

• Working as part of our manufacturing team

• Ensure adherence to company OH&S procedures and guidelines

• Wear appropriate safety clothing/protective items at all times

• Other duties as required with opportunities to expand knowledge and skillset in other areas of production

Skills Ideally Required:

• Work experience in manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential

• Industrial spray painting experience an advantage but not essential

• Metal work or mig welding experience an advantage but not essential

• Experience using hand tools an advantage

We are willing to offer training for the right candidate and there is opportunity for future growth.

Additional Information

• Full time, Monday to Friday and NO weekend work. Immediate start available.

• Ideal for school leaver/entry level as we are willing to train the right candidate.
