Project Engineer (Pre-cast)

Your opportunity

This role will see you take ownership of a significant precast package, working alongside supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers and project leaders to keep work moving from planning through to installation.

You'll be involved in the day-to-day realities of delivery. Reviewing drawings, coordinating with suppliers, resolving site issues, tracking progress and making sure everyone has what they need to get the job done. It's a role for someone who likes being close to the work, enjoys solving problems and isn't afraid to pick up the phone or walk onto site to find an answer.

The precast package is a critical part of the build, so you'll need to stay across the detail while keeping an eye on the bigger picture. No two days will be the same, but you'll be trusted to take ownership, build strong relationships and help drive outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

Taking ownership of the precast package from planning through to installationCoordinating drawings, RFIs, design changes and technical queriesWorking closely with suppliers and subcontractors to keep manufacturing and delivery schedules on trackManaging interfaces between design, production and site teamsIdentifying risks, constraints and programme impacts before they become issuesMonitoring progress and helping keep works on scheduleSupporting forecasting, reporting and commercial activities as requiredEnsuring works are delivered safely and to the required quality standardsBuilding strong working relationships with site teams, consultants and subcontractors

What You'll Bring

Experience as a Project Engineer, Site Engineer or similar construction roleExposure to precast, structural concrete or large-scale building packagesStrong planning and coordination skillsThe ability to build productive relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and project teamsA practical approach to problem-solving and decision-makingConfidence managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and attention to detailExperience on major commercial, industrial, infrastructure or mission-critical projects will be highly regarded
