Operational Services Officer

We're excited to welcome a Operational Services Officer to our Operational Services team!

In this role, you will provide patient support services, responsibilities that support a safe environment, wards person, cleaning, catering, waste management and linen services. Maleny is a hinterland tourist destination on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland and is 30km from the beaches of Caloundra. It is a rural area being classified as a modified Monash Model 5, or Rural Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a range of duties in the delivery of catering, hygiene, laundry, stores and supplies, transport, waste management, wards person duties, safety and general and clinical support.
• Assist in ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients, staff and visitors.
• Provide support during times of abnormal incidents within the precincts of the facility and liaise with the multidisciplinary team and Queensland Police Service as appropriate.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with Infection Control Guidelines.

Salary rates: $32.33 - $34.50 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 5) (fixed term temporary part time position available for six months, 64hrs p.f.)
