This role is based in Ballarat, Victoria with a requirement to be onsite full time working closely with the Plant Leadership Team.

What You'll Be Doing.

Provide timely and accurate financial information to the Plant and Regional Teams that aids in day to day decision makingDrive and play a leading role in the preparation of the annual Budget and periodical Forecasts, ensuring the accountability and ownership is embedded in the PlantIdentify gaps to the annual Budget/periodical Forecasts and work with the Plant Team to address them and drive outcomesEnsure accurate reporting of financial month end/year end resultsReporting, tracing, verifying Sustainable Cost Advantage initiatives to ensure delivery against targetsProvide financial support for NPD launchesResponsible for accuracy of standard costsSupporting capital expenditure requests with financial analysis

What You'll Need To Be Successful.

Bachelor of Accounting/Bachelor of Business, CPA/CA desirableVerifiable experience in Financial and Inventory Management with relevant industry qualifications.Demonstrated knowledge of Manufacturing Processes, Cost Analysis, Warehouse Management Systems and Financial Management Systems.Experience in a Food manufacturing environment desirable.SAP knowledge is an advantage.Holds self and others accountable to meet commitmentsBuilds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectivesSteps up to address difficult issues, saying what needs to be saidBuilds strong customer relationships and delivers customer centric solutions – both internal and externalRebounds from setbacks and adversity when faced with difficult situationsConsistently achieves results, even under tough circumstancesCreates a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectivesDemonstrated ability as a team player with good organizational, people and communication skills (across multiple departments and all levels of personnel).Demonstrated ability to work on a variety of unconnected projects with a result focus orientation, a logical thinker and good problem-solving skills.

About The Team.

This position forms part of the Finance function, reporting to the Finance Manager for Manufacturing, and will work closely with the Finance, Plant Leadership, and other cross functional team members.
