Exploration Plant Operator - Moranbah North Mine

We're currently recruiting for a multi-skilled operator to join our exploration team at Moranbah North Mine. The roster is 7/7 for DIDO and is from Tuesday lunchtime to the following Tuesday lunchtime for FIFO due to flight timing.

About the role

Exploration work at Moranbah North Mine including:

• Tree clearing

• Leveling pads

• Digging sumps

• Dust suppression and pit filling for drilling rigs

• Vac truck - pit emptying

You will attend prestart with the exploration team and then operate independently throughout the shift with limited supervision. Your main plant is a Caterpillar 444F backhoe but the ability to drive a watercart and vac truck is highly desirable. You will be back to back with one other exploration operator.

Camp accommodation and meals will be provided. We would prefer a DIDO candidate that lives within 5 hours of Moranbah but will also consider FIFO applicants out of Brisbane. Flights will be paid.

What you'll need

• RIIs obtained or renewed within the last 4 years: RIIMPO319 Backhoe, RIIMPO206 Bulk Water Truck, RIIVEH307 Heavy Rigid and RIICCM303 Vacuum Truck. (Vac Truck experience is desirable but not essential)

• Current Coal Board Medical (Health Assessment)

• Standard 11 dated within the previous 4 years

• Current Open Driver Licence (HR preferred)

• Computer literate and capable of completing online inductions

• Minimum 1-2 years' mining experience

• Exploration experience or background
