BMD Urban is seeking experienced Project Engineers and Contractor's Quality Representatives (CQRs) to join our high-performing team in the Townsville region.

Working alongside senior project leaders, you'll play a key role in delivering complex civil infrastructure projects while driving safety, quality, programme and commercial outcomes. You'll also have the opportunity to mentor Site Engineers and Graduates, helping develop the next generation of engineering talent.

Our diverse project portfolio includes:

• Residential and industrial land developments
• Water and sewer infrastructure upgrades
• Road infrastructure projects for local councils, Townsville City Council and TMR
• Defence infrastructure projects

• Provide technical and engineering support across project delivery
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality and contractual requirements
• Drive project productivity, programme and cost outcomes
• Support the delivery of quality infrastructure that meets client specifications
• Contribute innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges
• Mentor Site Engineers and Graduate Engineers
• Liaise effectively with project teams, clients and stakeholders
• Support quality management and project compliance requirements

We're looking for professionals who bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or
• Relevant CQR qualifications in surveying, quality management or similar disciplines
• Minimum 4 years' civil construction industry experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
• A strong commitment to safety, quality and environmental outcomes
• The ability to deliver value-for-money project outcomes

Highly regarded:

• Previous experience delivering TMR projects
• Experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 civil contractors
• Experience working on transport, infrastructure or urban development projects
