About the Firm
Berrigan Doube Lawyers is a well-established national law firm with a proud history dating back to 1927. With offices in Melbourne and Sydney, we are seeking a motivated Property Junior Lawyer to join our growing and dynamic team in our Melbourne CBD office.
The Role
We are looking for a dedicated legal professional to take ownership of a caseload focused on property advisory and transactional matters. While the role sits within our property team, you will also gain exposure to property disputes and resolution strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
· Providing clear, commercial advice on a range of property matters.
· Managing end-to-end transactional property files.
· Assisting in property dispute resolution and litigation support.
· Collaborating with senior partners and working autonomously on files.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should be a well-organized, efficient, and proactive lawyer. We are looking for:
· Current Victorian Practising Certificate: Mandatory.
· Experience: Legal experience in property law is preferred; however, we are committed to providing further training to the right candidate.
· Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
· Mindset: A positive, "can-do" attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine willingness to be involved in all aspects of our practice.
Why Join Us?
This is a rare opportunity to join a boutique, well-respected national practice. We offer a supportive environment where you will be an integral part of a growing team.
How to Apply
If you are ready to take the next step in your career, please submit your application, including your cover letter, curriculum vitae, academic transcripts, and a copy of your practising certificate to **@bdl.com.au.
