Vacuum Truck Operators - Multiple Positions Available, Full Time & Casual

About the role

Shepheard Vacuum Truck Services is growing, and we have multiple full-time & Casual positions available for reliable, switched-on Vac Truck Operators to join our South West team.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety — working across commercial, industrial, civil, government and emergency-response projects throughout the South West.

Key responsibilities

• Operate vac trucks across commercial, industrial, civil, government and emergency-response projects

• Work Monday to Friday, with participation in a rotating weekend on-call roster

• Participate in nightshift and away-work opportunities (when contracts arise)

• Safety-focused and able to work independently

• Flexibility to work overtime  and be on call as needed.

• Strong client focus — professional, approachable and committed to representing Shepheard VTS well while delivering a high standard of service on every job

About you

• HR licence minimum — MC highly regarded

• Controlled Waste/Vac truck experience highly regarded, but not essential

• Able to pass a Commercial Driver's Medical

• Able to pass Drug & Alcohol Screening

• Strong work ethic and a good attitude

• Flexibility to work overtime and be on call as needed

• Heavy vehicle driving experience and a willingness to learn
