About the role
The Company
LAI Group is one of Australia’s largest switchboards and switchrooms manufacturers. With over 115 years of combined experience, we are a leader in the design and manufacture of custom switchboards and switchrooms in Australia.
As a result of continuous national growth, LAI Group is seeking a Procurement Officer to join our team at our office in Hemmant, Queensland within our Supply Chain Management department. We would like team members who are excited about the opportunity to build a stable, rewarding, and lucrative career with us.
Schedule
Full-time
A 38-hour week (Monday – Friday + reasonable overtime).
Salary negotiable based on knowledge and experience
The Position
This role will be part of a new developed framework for Supply Chain Management for LAI Nationally. The role will support multiple sites daily with regards to PO management, Creation, fulfilment and RFQ’s, with a focus on Queensland sites and deliveries to and from Queensland, while delivering quality and risk mitigation controls through efficient Supplier management. Critical to the role will be the individual’s ability to effectively collaborate with sales and operations team to deliver profitable and on-time projects.

The Candidate
Excellent communication skills, customer service skills, coupled with effective trouble shooting skills.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Supply Chain Management Environment.
Innovative thinking and problem-solving solutions.
Ability to work autonomously, as well as a team and use initiative.
Leadership skills and experience.
Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
Advanced use of Microsoft word, excel, outlook.
Analytical and well organised when managing, reviewing, and reporting sale reports and project documentation.
