About the Opportunity 

This is a Fixed-Term, Full-Time position, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. 

In this position, the successful applicant will work as part of a multidisciplinary team as a Care Coordinator to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate consumer care area of Adult Community Mental health using advanced Occupational Therapy clinical practice skills.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants found suitable for this position may be considered for other ‘similar’ vacancies within EMHS and/or the wider WA public sector. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision. 

About the Midland Community Mental Health Service:

Midland Community Mental Health Centre is part of Bentley Health Service and is situated in the heart of Midland, is easily accessible via public transport and is close to Midland Gate Shopping Centre. It is a multidisciplinary tertiary mental health service providing specialist Mental Health care and care coordination for eligible consumers aged from 18 years in the Swan/Hills catchment. Multidisciplinary teams work with consumers to achieve their recovery goals and return to primary care in the community.
