POSITION OVERVIEWThe Project Planner is responsible for building and managing the construction program for a hyperscale data centre project. This role works closely with the delivery team to develop a clear construction sequence, track progress on site, and keep the program up to date. The Project Planner provides a practical schedule that supports day-to-day construction activities, helps manage timeframes, and keeps the project on track.

RESPONSIBILITIESBuild and maintain the project construction program from start to finishWork with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and consultants to align the program with site activitiesUpdate the program to reflect site progress, delays, and changesIdentify critical activities and track key milestones against the programHighlight risks to the program and suggest solutions to reduce delaysPrepare short-term lookahead programs to support site deliveryMonitor labour, plant, and materials against the programSupport the team with sequencing and planning of trades on siteAssist with delay analysis and assess the impact of changes to the programProvide regular schedule updates and reports to the project teamEnsure the program aligns with project requirements and safety standardsWork across multiple packages or stages as required on the project
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLEDegree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field5+ years' experience as a Project Planner within commercial constructionExperience using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar planning softwareExperience working on large-scale construction projects (data centre experience highly regarded)Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site deliveryAbility to work closely with site teams and manage competing priorities
