Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Rockhampton, QLD. The role will work directly with clients to support their job search, career development, and workplace success through one-on-one coaching sessions, group workshops, and practical guidance. Day-to-day tasks include assessing clients’ skills and interests, helping them set realistic employment goals, preparing resumes and cover letters, and providing interview coaching and job-search strategies. The role involves liaising with employers, advocating for clients, and monitoring progress to ensure successful placement and retention in suitable roles. You will also maintain accurate records, collaborate with colleagues and community partners, and contribute to continuous improvement of coaching programs and resources.Qualifications Ability to provide structured Job Coaching and Coaching support, including setting goals, tracking progress, and delivering constructive feedback.Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills to build trust, motivate clients, and engage effectively with employers and stakeholders.Knowledge of local labor market conditions, recruitment practices, and employer expectations, particularly within Rockhampton and regional QLD.Ability to manage a caseload, maintain accurate documentation, and use digital tools and systems for scheduling, reporting, and communication.Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practice and supporting clients from diverse backgrounds and abilities.Desirablezz: experience in employment services, vocational rehabilitation, or community services; current driver’s license and ability to travel locally as required.
