In partnership with Transport for NSW, we are introducing 125 electric buses over the next eight years to provide more sustainable transport options for local communities, supported by our newly electrified depots in Brookvale and Mona Vale.

About the Role:

We currently have various roles available, including both full-time and part-time positions.

• The charging assistant works within a team supporting the day-to-day operation of charging stations and related equipment.

• They operate buses in the yard and perform tasks ancillary to ensure the readiness of buses for in-service operation.

• Must have Australian Driving License.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain the operational status of all charging stations and equipment.

• Perform regular site inspections to ensure charging areas are tidy, hazard-free, and compliant with safety standards.

• Report faults, damage, or downtime promptly.

• Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives related to charging operations.

• General laboring, cleaning, charging, fueling and depot driving.

• Undertake basic quality control/assurance procedures for their work.

• Maintains basic record systems.

• Operating machinery: e.g. industrial sweeper, bus wash, lifting equipment, etc.
