Sales Representative

We are a growing Australian RTO (Registered Training Organization) seeking an ambitious, results-driven Sales Representative / Education Consultant who understands the VET sector and possesses established relationships within the education agent network.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS – Please do not apply unless you meet these:

• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in student recruitment or sales within an RTO, VET college, or higher education provider
• Active relationships and an established network with onshore and/or offshore education agents
• Strong understanding of CRICOS, the ESOS Framework, and international student recruitment compliance
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in student enrolments
• Direct experience handling sales pipelines, agent commission structures, and student consultations

About the Role:
This is not an entry-level position. We need a high-performing sales professional who can hit the ground running, leverage existing education agent relationships, and actively recruit prospective students into our course offerings.
You will act as the key driver of institutional growth, managing the sales pipeline from initial agent/student contact right through to course offer and enrolment—all while maintaining strict compliance with ASQA and CRICOS standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively recruit prospective international and domestic students to meet quarterly enrolment targets
• Build, maintain, and expand relationships with education agents and key industry partners
• Conduct detailed student consultations, assessing course suitability and entry requirements
• Manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle within the RTO CRM/Student Management System
• Represent the college at education expos, agent workshops, and industry networking events
• Work alongside the compliance team to ensure all marketing, recruitment, and offer letters adhere to regulatory guidelines
• Provide accurate reporting on sales pipelines, conversion rates, and market trends

Essential Experience & Skills:

• 2–3 years of sales/recruitment experience in an RTO or VET college environment (mandatory)
• Demonstrated ability to build strong agent partnerships and drive enrolment growth
• Sound knowledge of visa conditions, Genuine Student (GS) requirements, and CRICOS rules
• Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong target-oriented mindset with excellent time management skills
• Proficiency in RTO CRMs and Microsoft Office Suite
