Team members are encouraged to contribute ideas that enhance the overall guest experience.Role Description The Front of House Hospitality role at Sandall & Co. is a part-time, on-site position based in Sydney, NSW. Day-to-day tasks include greeting and seating guests, managing reservations and walk-ins, answering inquiries in person and over the phone, and providing clear information about menus, specials, and venue offerings. The role involves coordinating with the kitchen and bar, presenting food and beverage items, handling basic point-of-sale transactions, and ensuring the front-of-house area is clean, organized, and inviting. Team members are expected to assist with setting up and packing down service areas, support events or functions when required, and follow safety and hygiene procedures. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays may be required based on business needs.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Interpersonal Communication abilities to build rapport with guests and work effectively with colleagues.Candidates should possess clear Communication skills and experience delivering Presentations or explaining information confidently to individuals and small groups.Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and maintaining a professional and welcoming demeanor.Candidates should ideally have prior experience in hospitality, front-of-house, or retail environments and familiarity with basic POS or reservation systems.Candidates should demonstrate reliability, time management, and the ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy service environment.Candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks associated with front-of-house operations.Candidates should have working rights in Australia; responsible service certifications (e.g., RSA) are an advantage where applicable.
