First Year Apprentice Automotive Technician

We employ and operate locally with customer satisfaction as our core focus, our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, have a passion for cars and all things automotive and able to assist a hardworking team in a fast paced environment. You will be working with an industry leader in Automotive Servicing and have the opportunity to learn from some of the best trained Mazda Technicians in Australia. 

The Role: 

• Vehicle servicing and repairs;

• Road Tests;

• Complete necessary Administration tasks;

• Perform a range of mechanical duties (including diagnosing and repairing);

• Fitting and Balancing Tyres;

• Wheel Alignments;

• Provide efficient customer service;

• Work autonomously and as part of a team;

• Attend Training as required.

The successful applicant must demonstrate the following;

• Hold a current C Class, Manual Drivers License;

• Queensland Certificate of Education-  Must have completed Year 12;

• Have completed mechanical work experience (preferred but not essential);

• A passion for mechanics and the automotive industry;

• The ability to use your initiative and solve problems;

• Neat and tidy presentation;

• A willingness to learn new skills with a flexible approach to work tasks;

• Demonstrated commitment to Health & Safety in the workplace;

• A positive approach to work and willingness to help team members;

• Available to work occasional Saturday if required;

• Be committed to completing a 4 year apprenticeship.
