About the role
The Executive Officer will provide high level, professional and confidential administrative, executive and business support services to the Executive Manager ensuring alignment with the strategic direction and objectives of FSQ.
Your Key Responsibilities
Provide efficient, effective, ethical, confidential and professional executive support, coordinated information and credible advice to the Executive Manager, ensuring effective functioning of the officeFacilitate accurate and effective communication by tracking and distributing correspondence and maintaining and updating confidential and high-quality record in line with legislative requirementsDeliver high quality administrative and executive support within tight deadlines, to ensure the Executive Manager is enabled to perform their roleEstablish and maintain effective relationships with staff and stakeholders within FSQ, the department, other government agencies and external parties in relation to the timely provision of servicesProvide and coordinate quality control for the administration of the Executive Manager's meetings, including prioritisation, coordination and evaluation of forward agendas, meeting papers, briefs and follow-up actions arising from meetingsDevelop, implement, maintain and review comprehensive administrative systems, financial and human resource management practices and procedures, and filing and records management to ensure effective performance and outcomesPrioritise and resolve problems arising from conflicting requests, using discretion and within defined boundaries, autonomously redirect and respond to matters on behalf of the Executive ManagerUndertake other duties as required relating to the operational area and needs of the Executive Manager
