AI Workflow Business Analyst

DWS are seeking AI Workflow Analysts to work on client site alongside teams in Operations, Safety, Procurement, EPMO and Commercial, the Agentic AI program looks for the repetitive, queue-based and approval-heavy work that fills people's days and rebuilds it so agents handle the routine steps while people stay focused on the decisions that need judgement. It is being rolled out in stages, from everyday Copilots to knowledge agents and then fully automated workflows, with a person kept in the loop on every decision that matters and clear governance and security around all of it.

Type: Max Term Contract or ACN Day Rate

Salary: Up to $210,000 package (including super), depending on experience!

Location: Wooli Creek

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 12 Months

About The Role

You will sit between the business and the build team, working with people across the airport to understand how their processes really run and then reshaping them so agents can take them on. A lot of the value is in capturing the informal detail, the steps that live in emails, spreadsheets and people's heads, and turning it into something structured that a solution can be built around.

Key Responsibilities

Run sessions with teams in Operations, Safety, Procurement, EPMO, Commercial, Finance and others to map how work flows today, including hand-offs, approvals and decision pointsSpot the processes worth automating (the repetitive, queue-based, approval-heavy or vendor-delivered work) and size up the opportunityRedesign processes so routine work does not land on a person unless real judgement is needed, and set clear rules for when a human should step inCapture the informal steps, the emails, spreadsheets and know-how carried in people's heads, and turn them into documented, structured workflows and dataWrite clear requirements, process maps and acceptance criteria, and work closely with the AI Solution Architect to shape the solutionHelp prioritise use cases on value and readiness, keep the workflow backlog current, and check that delivered agents actually match what the process needs

Skills & Experience Required

At least five years in business analysis or process improvement, ideally on a transformation or automation programStrong process mapping and modelling (BPMN or similar) and disciplined requirements documentationA track record of drawing out requirements and running workshops with business and operational peopleA working feel for workflow automation, RPA or AI agents and where they genuinely add valueGrounding in Lean, Six Sigma or a similar process-improvement approachThe analytical habit of putting numbers to effort, volume and value to build a solid caseClear writing and confident facilitation in a room full of stakeholders
