About the Position
The City is seeking an experienced People and Culture Advisor to provide professional, customer-focused and confidential business partnering support. The role provides advice across the employee lifecycle, service delivery, City practices and legislative requirements, including employee relations matters, while ensuring compliant and confidential processes. The position provides leadership to a People and Culture Officer and high-level support to the Coordinator in relation to People and Culture processes, projects and initiatives.
This is a part-time, permanent position working 68.4 hours per fortnight, either across an 8 or 9-day fortnight.
About you
You are a senior HR professional with at least 5 years’ experience delivering customer focussed business partner support to internal customers. You are pro-active, highly organised and have solid knowledge of employment related legislation that supports you to succeed in managing complex and sensitive employee relations matters.
As a senior member of the People and Culture team, your leadership style is inclusive and team focussed, with the ability to balance the needs of our employees and the organisation. You are able to demonstrate accountability through your actions and work to enable an environment where safety, innovation and continuous improvement are encouraged.
