Cellar Door Staff

About the role

You'll be involved in all aspects of the cellar door experience at Dandelion Vineyards' McLaren Vale location. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys wine, people and creating memorable experiences. You'll be welcoming visitors, sharing the Dandelion story, guiding guests through wine tastings and helping customers find wines they'll love.

Key responsibilities

• Welcoming and engaging with guests

• Conducting wine tastings and confidently talking about our wines

• Sharing the Dandelion Vineyards story and philosophy

• Providing friendly, knowledgeable and genuine customer service

• Processing wine sales through our POS system

• Preparing and maintaining the cellar door and tasting areas

• Assisting with functions, events and group bookings

• Packing customer orders and assisting with general cellar door duties

• Representing the Dandelion Vineyards brand and creating a welcoming atmosphere

About you

• Friendly, confident and naturally engaging with people

• Passionate about delivering great customer experiences

• Interested in wine and keen to continue learning

• Comfortable talking to individuals, couples and groups

• Well presented and professional

• A team player who is happy to pitch in wherever needed

• Available to work weekends and public holidays as required

• Holds a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate

• Experience in the wine or hospitality industry

• Able to provide current references
