About the role
As a family-owned business, we focus on providing the highest quality service and supplying scaffolding solutions that are designed to meet our customer's specific needs, servicing the housing construction industry within the greater Melbourne Metropolitan area.
This is initially a Casual position with the option to work 5 days per week and an opportunity for Permanent work and further career advancement.
This position involves:
Assisting with the erecting and dismantling of light duty walkway systems (2 plank/hang on), guardrail, void protection decks, aluminum scaffold systems in the residential housing industry.
Assisting with the transportation of scaffolding to and from various sites.
Working with your team leader to ensure schedules and quality standards are met/maintained to keep our service levels where our customers expect.
To be part of this successful team you will:
Be physically capable of performing the work on outdoor building sites in a manner that ensures the safety of you and everyone on site.
Be flexible in the hours that need to be worked to handle the volumes we undertake.
Be able to work well within a team environment and follow directions.
The successful applicant will:
Be self-motivated, self-reliant, trustworthy and reliable.
Ensure promotion of a constant professional image.
Demonstrate a positive, "Can-Do" and “How Can I Help” attitude.
Possess a high attention to detail and strong quality focus.
Understand the importance OH&S policies and guidelines.
You will need the following:
Construction Induction Card.
Reliable means of getting to work.
Mobile Phone.
Not essential but an advantage:
Experience in installing light duty products
Scaffold Ticket.
Truck License.
Have own tools.
First-aid certificate.
Forklift license.
We will:
Provide a good wage package and working conditions.
Supply relevant and ongoing training, including gaining an appropriate Industry Card, Scaffold License, Truck License and Harness Training (after a qualification period)
