Solar Electrician

Solar Service Guys (SSG) is seeking a qualified Electrician with Solar PV and Battery installation experience to join our VIC operations.

This is a hands on role delivering a mix of inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, repair work, and solar and battery installations across residential and commercial sites. You will work across both service and installation activities, supporting safe, reliable, and high-quality outcomes for our customers.

This role is suited to an electrician who takes pride in their workmanship, values safety and professionalism, and enjoys varied work beyond repetitive installation environments.

Whilst our warehouse office is based in Nunawading, this position would be suitable for candidates based in Central or Western Suburbs due to job scheduling requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conduct electrical inspections, testing, and fault-finding

• Perform service, maintenance, and repair of solar and electrical systems

• Install and commission solar PV and battery systems

• Ensure work is completed safely and to required quality and compliance standards

• Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate effectively with team members and customers

What We’re Looking For

• Current Australian Electrical Licence (essential)

• PV Install Licence (required)

• Battery Install Licence (highly regarded)

• Permanent rights to work in Australia

• Manual Driver’s Licence

• Safe Working at Heights (or willingness to obtain)

• Strong safety mindset and reliable work ethic
