General Hand

GENERAL HAND  

(Offsite Receipting) 

In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks to support the day-to-day operations of our facility. You will work both independently and as part of a small, tight-knit team to ensure the efficient and safe handling of goods.

What will you be doing:

• Building Flats & Side ups
• Unloading and loading trucks
• Unloading and loading containers
• Load restraint
• Wrapping and strapping freight for travel
• Keeping the shed and yard organised
• Breaking down pallets
• Checking and verifying the contents of individual orders
• Labelling and recording the process
• Building and consolidating mixed pallets which requires a lot of manual handling

 What we require from you:

• Valid forklift operator's license (Ideally)
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to work early shifts
• Ability to work in hot and dusty she environment
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
