As our Victorian operation continues to grow, we are looking for a Warehouse Operator / Forklift Driver to join our team.

The Role

Working closely with our Victorian Operations Manager and transport team, you'll help keep the warehouse and transport operation running safely and efficiently.

Your day will be varied. You'll be involved in forklift operations, loading and unloading vehicles, receiving and dispatching freight, preparing customer orders and keeping the warehouse organised.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating forklifts safely and efficiently

• Loading and unloading trucks and trailers

• Receiving, checking and dispatching freight

• Preparing freight for transport and customer delivery

• Moving and storing stock within the warehouse

• Securing and positioning freight correctly

• Assisting drivers with loading and unloading

• Checking freight for damage and reporting discrepancies

• Maintaining an organised, clean and safe warehouse

• Completing warehouse and transport documentation

• Using handheld devices and warehouse/transport systems

• Working closely with the Operations Manager and transport team

• Following all WHS, Chain of Responsibility and company procedures

• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is reliable, switched-on and takes ownership of their work.

You will ideally have:

• A current Forklift Licence (LF)

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience

• Experience loading and unloading trucks

• Good understanding of safe forklift operation and warehouse practices

• Good communication skills

• The ability to work independently and as part of a small team

• Good attention to detail

• A strong work ethic and reliable attendance

• A safety-first attitude

• The physical ability to perform manual handling and warehouse duties

• Basic computer skills and confidence using handheld devices

A Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) licence would be highly regarded but is not essential.

Previous experience in transport, distribution or handling bulky or specialist freight will also be advantageous.

You might currently be working as a Forklift Driver, Warehouse Operator, Storeperson, Logistics Operator or Transport/Warehouse Assistant and be looking for your next opportunity.
