About the role
ABOUT US
Each Speech Pear Plum Speech Pathology is a paediatric practice based in Indooroopilly, Brisbane, with rooms in Ipswich and mobile visits close to both. We're a small team, and we like it that way — it means we know each other, back each other up, and hold ourselves accountable to one another, not just to a caseload. That same care shows up in how we show up for our clients and their families too — it's not one or the other, it's both.
THE ROLE
We're after a paediatric Speech Pathologist to join us, working across our Indooroopilly clinic, Ipswich rooms, and mobile visits close to these locations, to a set weekly roster.
1–2+ years' experience is strongly preferred, but we're more interested in the right person than a perfect resume. Skills in CAS, AAC, or paediatric feeding are a bonus, however they are not a requirement.
You'll have an experienced clinical team and an Allied Health Assistant around you, with full admin support, so your time goes toward clients and your own development, not paperwork.
HOW WE WORK
We protect time every week — no client bookings on Friday afternoons — for admin, case discussions, supervision, and actually being a team, not just people who happen to share a caseload.
Your week runs to a set roster across our clinic and mobile locations. That's deliberate: everyone knows where they're meant to be, and no one's left guessing.
Beyond that, we're looking for someone who's transparent, takes accountability, and genuinely wants to be part of a team — someone who brings energy and pulls their weight, because that's what we strive to do for each other too.
WHAT'S ON OFFER
$83k–$115k FTE + super, depending on experience
4+ weeks annual leave + paid birthday leave
$1,500 PD budget + 3 paid PD days per year FTE
Full admin & Allied Health Assistant support
1:1 clinical supervision and peer mentoring
Protected Friday afternoons — no client bookings
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
A recognised degree in Speech Pathology
Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership (Certified Practising status)
Driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Comfortable working to a structured weekly roster across multiple sites
Reliable, and takes their role seriously
