Civil Supervisor

Zenith is delivering a major new 532MW hybrid power system supporting Northern Star Resources' Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines (KCGM) operations near Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. The project combines 256MW of wind generation, 138MW of solar generation and a 138MW/300MWh battery energy storage system, providing reliable, lower-emission power to one of Australia's largest gold mining operations.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary project team, you'll contribute to the delivery of critical energy infrastructure while helping shape the future of remote power generation. This is an opportunity to work on a technically complex, large-scale project alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

We're looking for an experienced Civil Supervisor to join our construction team and lead the safe and efficient delivery of critical civil infrastructure. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a major renewable energy project while working alongside a highly experienced multidisciplinary team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of civil works across the project, ensuring activities are completed safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising civil construction activities including earthworks, concrete works, structural foundations, underground services, drainage and roads.
• Leading site crews and coordinating labour, equipment and materials to achieve construction milestones.
• Promoting a strong safety culture through pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, inspections and compliance with Zenith's HSE systems.
• Monitoring quality to ensure works meet engineering drawings, specifications and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Coordinating with Project Engineers, Construction Managers, client representatives and other discipline supervisors.
• Identifying construction issues, managing site risks and implementing practical solutions.
• Maintaining accurate site documentation, daily reports and progress updates.
• Mentoring and developing site personnel while driving accountability and continuous improvement.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

• Trade qualification or tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience leading and supervising civil construction projects in remote operational mine sites.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, Australian Standards and HSE systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent planning, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Construction White Card.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Relevant HSE training (First Aid, Working at Heights, Confined Space or similar)

Highly Regarded

Candidates with experience delivering multiple construction projects valued at $100 million or more will be highly regarded.
