About the role
New Graduates Welcome!
At Valens Care, we believe great allied health starts with supporting great clinicians.
We are a growing provider of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Podiatry services across South East Queensland. Our team is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care while creating a workplace where clinicians feel valued, supported and trusted.
As demand for our Podiatry services continues to grow, we are looking for Podiatrists who enjoy the independence of community practice while being backed by a genuinely supportive multidisciplinary team.
This is a role for clinicians who enjoy working autonomously, building meaningful relationships with clients and delivering high-quality care without unnecessary administrative burden.
Whether you're an experienced Podiatrist seeking flexibility and autonomy, or a new graduate looking for mentorship and structured support, we would love to hear from you.
Flexible full-time or part-time opportunities
Choose hours that suit your lifestyle
Work independently while being fully supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team
Dedicated administration team managing scheduling, referrals, client communication and invoicing
Diverse community caseload across client homes, retirement villages and residential aged care facilities
Gradual caseload build-up and structured onboarding support
Annual professional development allowance
Long-term career progression opportunities within a growing organisation
Fully funded interstate (NSW) travel opportunities for clinicians interested in supporting our expanding services, with flights, accommodation, vehicle hire and meals provided
We believe great podiatry is about more than simply treating feet. It's about helping people maintain their mobility, independence and quality of life.
Our podiatrists are trusted to manage their own day, make clinical decisions independently and develop lasting relationships with their clients, while having the support of an experienced administration team and multidisciplinary colleagues whenever they need it.
Unlike many podiatry roles, you'll spend your time doing what you trained to do - delivering quality clinical care. Administrative tasks are managed by our dedicated support team, and all instrument sterilisation is completed by our Allied Health Assistants, so you can focus on your clients rather than non-clinical duties.
You'll also be supported by Brisbane Foot & Orthotics, our in-clinic podiatry service with clinics located in Eight Mile Plains, Daisy Hill and North Lakes, providing the clinical foundation for our growing podiatry team.
Your responsibilities may include:
Routine and high-risk foot care
Diabetic foot assessments and management
Footwear assessment and recommendations
Pressure care and ulcer prevention
Falls prevention and mobility support
Individualised treatment planning and goal setting
Clinical documentation and report writing
Liaising with families, GPs, support coordinators, residential aged care staff and other healthcare professionals
Full AHPRA registration as a Podiatrist
Current Australian working rights
Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Professional indemnity insurance
National Police Check
COVID-19 vaccination evidence
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for delivering high-quality, client-centred care
This role is based in Toowoomba, and for candidates interested to cover towards Ipswich region, remuneration can be discussed.
Ability to cover regional NSW region such as Batemans Bay, Goulburn, Queanbeyan, Central Coast and New England are very welcomed, and remuneration and terms can be further negotiated.
New graduates are encouraged to apply.
If you are looking for a flexible and rewarding Podiatry role where you'll enjoy genuine autonomy, outstanding support and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the community, we would love to hear from you.
Please apply via SEEK or send your CV and any questions to ••••@valenscare.com.au for a confidential discussion.
