Based at our busy Booval Pre-Delivery Department, our team is responsible for preparing and coordinating a large volume of vehicles across multiple brands and dealership locations.

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Truck Driver with a current HR Licence to join our growing Pre-Delivery team.

About the Role

As our Pre-Delivery Truck Driver, you will play an important role in ensuring vehicles are transported safely, efficiently and on time between our dealership locations, storage facilities and other designated destinations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely loading, securing, transporting and unloading vehicles

• Transporting vehicles between dealership locations, storage facilities and other designated destinations

• Ensuring vehicles are handled with care and arrive in excellent condition

• Conducting appropriate checks of vehicles before and after transportation

• Identifying and reporting any transit damage, faults or issues

• Ensuring vehicles are correctly secured and transported in accordance with road laws and company procedures

• Completing transport documentation and maintaining accurate records as required

• Planning and managing transport movements efficiently to meet departmental and dealership deadlines

• Maintaining a high standard of care and presentation of all vehicles while in your possession

• Communicating effectively with the Pre-Delivery Manager and other dealership departments regarding vehicle movements and requirements

• Assisting the Pre-Delivery Department with general duties as directed by the Pre-Delivery Manager

• Supporting the Vehicle Detailers, Accessory Fitters and Technicians where required

• Maintaining the truck and transport equipment in a clean, safe and roadworthy condition

• Adhering to all workplace health and safety requirements, transport regulations and dealership policies

• Representing Llewellyn Motors professionally when transporting vehicles between locations

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a safe, reliable and responsible driver who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of looking after vehicles and meeting transport deadlines.

Ideally, you'll have:

• A current HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver Licence – essential

• Previous truck driving experience

• Experience transporting vehicles is highly desirable

• Experience loading, securing and unloading vehicles safely

• A strong understanding of road safety and transport requirements

• Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on vehicle care

• A reliable and punctual approach to work

• The ability to work independently while also being a valued member of a team

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced automotive environment

• A current driver's licence

Previous automotive or dealership experience will be highly regarded, however, we are also open to experienced HR drivers from other transport industries who demonstrate the right attitude, reliability and attention to detail.
