Pharmacist - Business Support (Full-Time)

In a rare opportunity for career progression, we are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and patient-focused Pharmacist, with experience in health service delivery or management in community pharmacy, to join us as a Business Development Pharmacist.

This exciting position offers the chance be part of our pharmacist-led Pharmacy Development team, support our growing service-based network at Pharmacies, implement change within the industry, and contribute to creating a positive impact in the local communities we serve

Work Related Requirements

Essential:

• Tertiary qualification in Pharmacy, registered by the Pharmacy Board of Australia and AHPRA.

• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant pharmacy legislation and standards.

• Demonstrated comprehensive and current knowledge of and experience in delivery and implementation of community pharmacy services and programs, including 8CPA, QSPP, medication counselling, and education.

• Demonstrated effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to effectively discuss various parameters of a pharmacy business, including business plans, financial metrics, and human resources.

• Demonstrated commitment to personal and professional development.

• Eligible for / or in possession of a current C or C-A Class drivers licence.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in business development.

• Relevant post graduate qualifications

You will be reporting to the Pharmacy Operations Manager. The role is based at our Head Office in Osborne Park, Perth, with requirement for routine travel to support the pharmacies across metro and reginal WA. Other work-related travel may be required, as part of our dedicated support for our members.

Responsibilities include

• Overseeing onboarding of new franchisee/s into our network of pharmacies.

• Working closely with Owners and Managers on implementing the Pharmacy 777 Operating Model and developing business plans to improve pharmacy performance,

• Mentoring, coaching and providing training and guidance to develop and progress their teams in delivering the expanding scope of practice and new health services.

• Supporting the development, training, and implementation of health services in pharmacy and group wide level.
