Vehicle Hoist Service Technician / General All-Rounder

About the role

Your primary responsibilities will include servicing and repairing vehicle hoists, assisting with hoist installations as required, diagnosing faults and troubleshooting mechanical issues, providing excellent customer service on-site, and assisting with general yard duties during quieter periods, including property maintenance. Full training will be provided in the installation and servicing of vehicle hoists. While formal qualifications are not essential, a strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn are highly valued.

Key responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing vehicle hoists

• Assisting with hoist installations as required

• Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting mechanical issues

• Providing excellent customer service on-site

• Assisting with general yard duties during quieter periods, including property maintenance

About you

• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical skills

• Good problem-solving abilities

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Physical fitness, as some heavy lifting is involved

• Current unrestricted manual driver's licence

• Steel-capped work boots (or willingness to obtain)

• Android tablet operation
