About the role
The Role
The Air Lift Systems Program Office (ALSPO) is seeking an experienced and capable Contract Management Officer. The role contributes to the delivery of a broad range of commercial activities, including contract administration, procurement support, contract amendments, export controls, technical data and intellectual property management, governance and assurance activities, and engagement with industry partners.

This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Collective Agreement (DECA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability. ALSPO delivers air mobility capabilities that support combat, humanitarian, diplomatic and peacekeeping operations. We provide sustainment services for the C-130J Hercules and C-27J Spartan aircraft, ensuring mission readiness for the Air Force.

This position is based at RAAF Richmond and supports flexible work arrangements. However, due to operational requirements, remote working is not suitable. The role requires a consistent on-site presence in Western Sydney to ensure effective service delivery and stakeholder engagement.
