Line Supervisor - Food Manufacturing

We are a family-owned food manufacturing business based on Melbourne’s north side, seeking experienced Lline Supervisors to help lead our production team and ensure smooth, efficient daily operations.

This hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading by example, and taking pride in producing quality food safely and consistently.

About the Role

You will be responsible for supervising day-to-day production activities, ensuring output, quality, and food safety standards are met while supporting and developing your team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations and staff

• Ensure production targets, quality, and efficiency goals are met

• Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS requirements

• Coordinate staffing, breaks, and workflow on the production floor

• Troubleshoot production issues and escalate where required

• Support training and onboarding of production staff

• Work closely with management to improve systems and processes

About You

• Previous experience supervising in a food manufacturing environment

• Experience with floor packing machines

• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards

• Confident leading teams in a fast-paced production setting

• Practical, level-headed, and solutions-focused

• Good communication skills and attention to detail

• Willing to be hands-on when required
