Group Practice Manager - URGENT

Scope Healthcare is a specialist provider of cardiology, respiratory and sleep diagnostics services, with multiple sites across South-East Melbourne. They're seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their South-East Melbourne practices.

The Role
Reporting to the Healthcare Manager, you'll ensure the practices operate efficiently and provide a high standard of service to patients, referring practitioners and specialists. You'll directly lead reception and administration teams across multiple sites, with primary responsibility for staff rostering and coverage, coordinating service delivery, and resolving operational issues as they come up.

Based in South-East Melbourne, with regular travel between practice locations. A fleet vehicle is provided for approved work-related travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple practice locations

• Lead, support and manage reception and administration teams across the region

• Prepare, publish and maintain staff rosters, ensuring coverage for consulting and testing sessions, leave and unplanned absences

• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and training with HR and the Healthcare Manager

• Monitor attendance, performance, patient service and operational standards

• Ensure Medicare billing and patient accounts are processed accurately and promptly

• Manage patient, practitioner and employee concerns professionally

• Monitor stock, supplies, equipment and supplier arrangements

• Identify operational issues and implement practical improvements

• Support the rollout of new systems, services and locations

• Provide regular updates to the Healthcare Manager and leadership

About You

• 3+ years' experience as a Practice Manager or Operations Manager in a medical or healthcare setting

• Experience leading reception or administration teams across multiple locations

• Experience preparing and managing staff rosters

• Knowledge of Medicare billing and healthcare administration

• Good communication skills, strong organisational and problem-solving ability

• Confidence managing employee, patient and practitioner concerns

• Current driver's licence and ability to travel between South-East Melbourne sites

What We Offer

• $85,000–$110,000 plus superannuation, based on experience
