About the job
We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Compliance Specialist to join our Corporate Governance, Risk and Resilience team.
Reporting to the Corporate Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining SA Water's compliance framework and supporting a strong culture of integrity across the organisation. You will provide expert advice, lead compliance investigations, monitor compliance obligations, support regulatory engagements, and help ensure legal and corporate requirements are effectively managed.
Working closely with leaders and stakeholders across the business, you will contribute to regulatory reporting and identify opportunities to strengthen compliance systems, processes and organisational capability. This is an opportunity to influence business decisions and help drive continuous improvement across an essential service provider.
About the Person
You are an analytical and proactive compliance professional with experience operating in a regulatory, governance, risk, assurance or compliance environment. You can interpret complex legislation and requirements, provide practical advice, and communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
With strong interpersonal skills and a solutions-focused approach, you build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation. You are comfortable engaging with senior leaders, regulators and operational teams, and have exposure to risk and assurance activities. You thrive in complex environments, can manage competing priorities, and maintain a strong focus on detail while supporting sound compliance and governance outcomes.
