Job Description
Epworth HealthCare is seeking an experienced Grade 3 Neuropsychologist to join our team in a part-time (0.6 EFT) position.
Based at Epworth Camberwell, this exciting opportunity offers the chance to combine advanced clinical practice with service leadership in a well-established and supportive multidisciplinary environment.
As a senior member of the Rehabilitation Psychology Service, you will provide clinical and service leadership across inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs while maintaining a varied clinical caseload. You will work with patients across inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs and contribute to our leading treatment program for Functional Neurological Disorders. You will play a key role in shaping and developing the service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care.
You will support a dedicated team of psychologists through clinical supervision, mentoring and performance development, while also providing supervision to Provisional Psychologists on placement. Working closely with management and key stakeholders, you will contribute to service planning, quality improvement initiatives, recruitment and workforce development.
This Grade 3 role encompasses a range of leadership responsibilities, including staff and student supervision, performance review processes, recruitment and ongoing service development. It presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced Neuropsychologist looking to influence service delivery, support the growth of others and make a meaningful contribution to patient outcomes.
You will make an impact by:
Providing effective and empathetic leadership to Grade 2 neuropsychology and clinical psychology staffExpert knowledge and expertise in neuropsychological assessments and interventionsCollaborating with other health clinicians to develop and grow services based on best practiceA flexible mindset to meet the many clinical needs of our patientsBe naturally proactive and responsive to changing patient profiles and service demandA drive for quality improvement and ongoing professional developmentTo be successful in this role you will have:
Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) in neuropsychological assessments and interventions in a broad range of clinical presentations, including ABI, neurodegenerative conditions, and functional neurological disordersHospital experience, and ability to adjust assessments/interventions to an inpatient setting (desirable)Recent experience in a leadership role is preferred but not essentialExperience in student and/or staff supervision, with PsyBA approved supervisor statusPosition Description Inherent Requirements

Qualifications
A Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical NeuropsychologyGeneral psychologist registration with AHPRA and endorsement in Clinical NeuropsychologyRegistration as a Board approved supervisor with AHPRA
