Perioperative Registered Nurse - Scrub/ Scout

About the role:

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Perioperative Registered Nurse Scrub/ Scout to join our clinical team on a full-time basis.

Great work/ life balance - Monday to Friday flexible roster - no weekends or public holidays - hospital closed over the Christmas and New Year period.

Duties and responsibilities:

This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.

• Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
• Ensure the Theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery
• Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
• Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
• Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
• Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift

About You:

You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:

• Solid experience in Perioperative Scrub/ Scout nursing
• Experience in the below specialties desirable
• Current AHPRA registration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
