Marketing and Growth Executive

We are looking for a creative, motivated and personable Marketing & Growth Executive to join our established dermatology and cosmetic practice in Melbourne.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has developed a good foundation in marketing and is now ready to take the next step in their career and grow towards a more senior role.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about marketing, enjoys coming up with ideas and wants to see their work make a real difference.

We are an established family-owned dermatology and cosmetic practice, led by Dr Desmond Gan, a leading dermatologist and experienced practice owner.

We are deliberately not a large corporate organisation. This means you will have the opportunity to work closely with Dr Gan, contribute ideas and see directly how your work contributes to the growth of the business.

One of the things we are particularly proud of is the team we have built.

We already have a very strong team culture. Our staff are experienced, supportive of one another and genuinely enjoy working together. There is a strong sense of camaraderie across the practice, and people are happy to help each other rather than simply focus on their own individual roles.

You will work closely with Dr Gan and our existing team to help grow our dermatology, skin and cosmetic services.

Your role will include:

• Developing creative ideas for social media and digital marketing

• Creating and coordinating engaging content

• Helping manage social media platforms

• Assisting with paid digital advertising campaigns

• Monitoring our website and coordinating website and SEO improvements

• Helping develop our patient database and email/SMS marketing

• Managing and responding to online and social-media enquiries

• Developing marketing campaigns and promotional ideas

• Reviewing marketing results and identifying opportunities for improvement

• Working with Dr Gan and the team to develop new marketing initiatives

You do not need to be an expert in every area of marketing.

We are much more interested in finding someone who is smart, creative, proactive and eager to learn. You will have support from the existing team and external specialists where required.

You may currently be working as a:

• Digital Marketing Executive

• Marketing Coordinator

• Digital Marketing Specialist

• Social Media & Marketing Specialist

• Marketing Executive

You may have around 2–5 years of marketing experience, although we are more interested in your ability, attitude and potential than the exact number of years you have worked.

We would particularly like someone who:

• Has a good understanding of digital marketing and social media

• Is creative and has a good eye for quality content

• Is commercially minded and interested in achieving real results

• Is organised and able to manage several projects

• Takes initiative and enjoys bringing new ideas to the table

• Communicates well and enjoys working with people

• Is curious and willing to learn

• Wants to develop into a more senior marketing role

• Is a positive team player who genuinely enjoys being part of a team

Experience in cosmetic medicine, dermatology, healthcare, aesthetics, premium beauty or a related industry would be highly regarded, but is not essential.

We understand that someone moving into a more senior role may not have all the answers.

That's okay.

You will have direct access to Dr Gan, an experienced team around you and support from other team members and external specialists when needed.

You will have the opportunity to learn from an experienced medical practice while also having the freedom to bring your own ideas and develop your own skills.

We want to give the right person the opportunity to take increasing responsibility, develop their skills and grow with the practice.

This is not a role where you are expected to walk in on day one and know everything.

We are looking for someone with the potential to become an important part of our future growth.

Ultimately, we want our marketing to help us:

• Reach more people who are interested in our services

• Generate more quality enquiries

• Increase consultations and new patients

• Strengthen relationships with our existing patients

• Grow our cosmetic and skin-treatment services

You don't need to arrive with a complete marketing strategy.

We'll build it together.
