About the role

As a Graduate physiotherapist at Calvary Bruce Private Hospital, your main duties will include:

• Provide physiotherapy services within the Medical, Surgical, Orthopedic, Mental Health Inpatient under the direction and guidance of the relevant Senior Physiotherapist
• Where applicable, provide clinical supervision, support and direction to less senior Physiotherapists, students and Allied Health Assistants as directed by the Senior Physiotherapist.

• This is a temporary position working full-time for a period of 6 months with the possibility of extension into 2027.
• Casual or part-time hours could also be considered.

About you

Essential:

• An appropriate degree in Physiotherapy
• Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA.
• Ability to work a Monday to Friday
• Shift availability between the hours of 8am and 8pm

Desirable:

• Effective communication & interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated competence as a clinician to exercise independent professional judgement on general inpatient management
• Ability to participate in and promote Quality Improvement
• Well-developed time management skills.
• Willingness to participate in a weekend/holiday roster
• Current ACT Driver’s License
• Ability to work some weekends where needed
