This is a great opportunity for experienced cattle station hands, feedlot workers and practical farm workers who enjoy working outdoors, operating machinery and performing a varied range of livestock and farm duties.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Current unrestricted Australian work rights

• Current Driver’s Licence

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in livestock handling and general farm work

• Experience operating tractors and agricultural machinery

• Ability to work safely around cattle and livestock environments

• Physically fit for manual outdoor work

• Ability to work independently and take initiative

About the Role

You will be responsible for a broad range of livestock, farm and property maintenance duties across our Coominya operations. This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and capable of jumping straight into day-to-day farm operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Cattle handling and livestock movement

• Feeding and watering livestock

• Tractor and machinery operation

• Operation of skid steers and feed mixer equipment

• Yard work and livestock area maintenance

• Fencing repairs and general property maintenance

• General farm labouring and upkeep duties

• Working safely in line with WHS requirements and livestock welfare expectations

About You

You are a practical, reliable and self-motivated farm worker who can work independently and contribute positively to a team environment.

Ideal Experience

• Livestock handling and cattle yard experience

• Experience operating tractors and farm machinery

• General fencing and farm maintenance skills

• Mechanically minded with practical problem-solving ability

• Experience working in fast-paced rural or livestock environments

• Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
