Supervisor Haulage Infrastructure

The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Supervisor Haulage Infrastructure to join our Onslow Iron operations on an 8D6RR roster.

Reporting to the Superintendent Haulage Infrastructure, you will play a key role in the operational performance and maintenance of our Onslow Iron Haul Road, infrastructures and other roads within the Onslow Iron Project. You will coordinate daily plans and lead the road maintenance team, consistently upholding MinRes’ safety-first culture.

With your expert leadership and keen eye for efficiency, you'll oversee road maintenance operations, ensuring smooth and effective workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities aligning to the levels of service and KPIs set for the Onslow Iron Project.
• Provide visible leadership, mentoring team members and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure strict compliance with all relevant safety regulations, maintaining safety as the top priority.
• Clearly communicate responsibilities and expectations, and ensure the team have the necessary support and resources to succeed.
• Identify, develop, and implement operational process improvements.
• Monitor team performance and make timely adjustments to ensure targets are reached.
• Deliver clear and comprehensive reporting to management on maintenance progress, challenges, and successes.

What is required?

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a similar industrial or mining environment.
• In-depth knowledge of road and civil infrastructure construction and maintenance within a mining and/or Main Roads WA setting.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• Ability to make effective decisions under pressure and adapt to operational needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, with superior planning skills and attention to detail.
• Schedule 26.
• Current Australian work rights.

Onslow Iron Project
Onslow Iron is one of the largest iron ore projects in Australia, set to unlock billions of tonnes of stranded deposits in the West Pilbara region. Underpinning the project is the innovative supply chain including modular crushers, a 150km private, dedicated haul road, and transhippers. At the Ken’s Bore Resort, we’ve set a new standard for FIFO accommodation with 45 square metres of living space – three times the size of traditional FIFO rooms – each equipped with a queen size bed, ensuite, kitchenette, big screen TV and private laundry.

The Onslow Port covers the coastal component of the Onslow Iron Project. Central to Onslow Iron’s success will be its innovative transhipping solution, which will allow MinRes to ship millions of tonnes of ore without the need for a deep-water port.
