About the Role
This is a genuine end-to-end project management role. You'll own small works projects across the full breadth of our industrial services offering — from first client call through to final invoice. No handballing, no silos. You quote it, you win it, you run it, you close it out.
You'll be the face of SMS for a portfolio of metro and regional clients, backed by experienced crews, a supportive leadership team, and systems that let you focus on delivery rather than paperwork.

What you'll be doing

• Scoping, estimating and quoting small works packages across all SMS service lines
• Leading and managing small field teams — allocating crews, setting expectations, and holding leading hands accountable for daily performance
• Running projects end-to-end: mobilisation, crew scheduling, materials, site supervision coordination, and close-out
• Owning the full project P&L — cost control, margin protection, variations, claims and invoicing; you answer for the number at the bottom of the job
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships; converting one-off jobs into repeat work
• Ensuring every job is delivered safely and in full compliance with WHS legislation and SMS systems
• Coordinating with our HSEQ, yard, design and estimating teams to keep jobs moving
• Reporting on project performance, pipeline and forecast to the leadership team

What you'll bring

• Proven experience delivering industrial services, construction or maintenance projects end-to-end
• Demonstrated experience leading small teams in the field: rostering, performance management, and getting the best out of crews under time pressure
• Genuine P&L accountability in a previous role — you've owned job or portfolio financials, not just watched them; you can read a cost report and act on it before month-end
• Trade or field background highly regarded — you know what good looks like on the tools, and crews respect that
• Confident client-facing communicator, comfortable dealing with everyone from site supers to asset managers
• Solid working knowledge of WA WHS legislation and safe systems of work
• Current WA driver's licence and construction White Card
• MSIC and/or site inductions for major WA facilities an advantage
• The ability to juggle multiple live jobs without dropping any of them
