Class Size: Maximum of 14 students per class
Creative Kids Art Club offers inspiring after-school art programs and holiday workshops for children aged 2.5β14 years across Perth.
Weβre expanding to new locations and are seeking exceptional Visual Art Teachers to join our friendly and professional teaching team for Term 4 2026 and beyond!
This role is perfect for teachers who are passionate about art education and enjoy working with children in a positive, creative environment.
π§βπ¨ Position OverviewStart Date: October 19th (Term 4 2026)
Schedule: Monday to Sunday, after-school hours and weekends
Additional Opportunities: Extra classes during school holidays or weekends
Locations Currently Hiring: Rockingham, Piara Waters, Ellenbrook, Mt Claremont.
Class Duration:
After-school: up to 2 hours
Holiday workshops: 3β5 hours
Ages: 2.5β14 years (grouped by age level)
Class Size: Maximum of 14 students per class
Contract Type: Part-time or contract basis
Induction: Paid induction and term planning meeting provided
Bachelor of Education (Visual Arts) or
Bachelor of Arts with a Diploma of Education, B.Ed, or Masterβs in Primary Teaching
Proven teaching experience in visual arts
Experience in relief or full-time classroom teaching
Strong knowledge of art processes and techniques (clay, printmaking, acrylic & watercolour painting, drawing, sculpture)
Creative, enthusiastic, and organised approach to teaching
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Ability to build positive relationships with students and parents
Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
ABN if applying as a contractor
Current Driverβs Licence
No admin stress: All lesson plans, materials, and resources are provided
No marking, playground duty, or reports β just pure teaching!
