Today, Knight provides 3 main service offerings – Accounting, Financial Advice and Self-Managed Super and employs over 70 staff.

Our Role
As part of the bookkeeping team you will provide a full range of bookkeeping services to our clients including:
Data entry including but not limited to the processing of receipts, invoices, payroll, bank transactions etc.;
Preparing and filing BAS/IAS and other ATO returns;
Setting up client data files and improving client Chart of Accounts;
Preparing monthly management reporting for clients
Managing the job process; and
Training clients to use the software effectively.
You will be the main point of contact for any bookkeeping queries for the clients you manage including internal queries from the accounting division. The role offers flexible working arrangements and hybrid working but the ability to visit clients is a requirement so applicants should be based in Perth. The role can be worked part time or full time, please state your preference in your application.
What we look for
The ideal candidate will have experience concurrently working with several different clients, experience in job scheduling and can manage priorities. Experience with on-boarding of new clients would be preferred. You will be up to date with the various accounting packages and the add-ons available to ensure bookkeeping can be completed as efficiently as possible. The ability to think outside the box and utilise technology for efficiency is an essential requirement for this role. We are looking for someone that is client focussed and has a positive can-do attitude.
Demonstrated experience working as a bookkeeper in an accounting practice or bookkeeping business;
Experience working with a broad range of clients;
Ability to reconcile client files to Trial Balance is essential.
Experience using a range of software packages including MYOB and Xero;
Cert IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting preferable.
