Security Officers & Control Room Operators
About The Role
Securecorp is seeking professional, motivated and customer-focused Security Officers to join our retail security team in Warriewood Square, with Full-Time, Part-Time and Casual opportunities available.
We are also seeking experienced Control Room Operators to join our team on a Full-Time basis. Applicants for the Control Room Operator position must have a minimum of 3 years’ control room experience and be available to work full-time.
As a Retail Security Officer, you will play an important role in creating a safe, secure and welcoming environment for customers, retailers and centre staff. You will combine a highly visible security presence with outstanding customer service, helping to protect people, property and assets while contributing to a positive retail experience.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct high-visibility internal and external patrols throughout the retail centreMonitor CCTV and respond promptly to incidents, alarms and emergenciesMaintain a professional security presence while delivering exceptional customer serviceMonitor access points and enforce site policies, procedures and security requirementsAssist customers and retailers with enquiries, directions and general assistanceLiaise professionally with Centre Management, retailers, emergency services and contractorsIdentify and report hazards, suspicious behaviour and security risksComplete accurate and timely incident reports and daily activity logsAssist with emergency evacuations, incidents and other emergency situationsMaintain a high standard of professionalism, presentation and conduct at all times
About You
We are looking for people who are reliable, professional and take pride in providing both security and customer service excellence.
You Will Have
A current NSW Security LicenceCurrent First Aid and CPR certificationPrevious retail security experience highly regarded, but not essentialExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilitiesA professional presentation and customer-focused approachThe ability to remain calm, alert and professional under pressureStrong observation skills and the ability to respond appropriately to incidentsA reliable and punctual approach to workFlexibility to work rotating rosters, including weekends and public holidaysThe ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Control Room Operators
For Control Room Operator Positions, You Will Additionally Require
A minimum of 3 years' previous control room experienceStrong CCTV monitoring and incident response experienceExcellent attention to detail and situational awarenessThe ability to manage multiple incidents and priorities in a fast-paced environmentFull-Time availability
