Field Technicians

Levant Makesafes are currently recruiting multiple Field Technicians for long term, permanent opportunities. Role & Responsibilities:

• Operating in teams, travelling daily from job to job, performing Make Safes & Restoration services.

• Application of the correct industry processes & procedures.

• Complete comprehensive job reports.

• Operate & maintain company vehicles, equipment & tools.

• Operate safely in hazardous work environments, complete required safety documents (SWMS/Take 5s).

• Working on small to large scale projects alongside other trades.

• Training & development of ‘green’ staff.

• Interpret engineering drawings.

• Supervising small to large sized jobs.

• Organising job specific trades ie; cranes.

• Coordinate in a high-pressure storm scenario.

Skills & Competencies:

• Must be able to problem solve while working individually & in a team environment.

• Customer service – must present well & be able to communicate with customers.

• Construction, maintenance &/or restoration skills are a must for the role.

• Must be able to demonstrate clear understanding of Restoration methodology correlating to the certification.

• Must be able to demonstrate clear understanding of Make Safe methodology correlating to the competencies & industry requirements.

• Proficient with the use of relevant tools & equipment.

• Must be able to demonstrate clear understanding of WHS/safe work methodology correlating to the competencies & industry requirements.

Licences, Tickets & Qualifications:

• Driver’s Licence 

• Construction White Card

• First Aid & CPR Certificate

• Working at Heights

• Elevated Work Platform

• Asbestos Removal/Supervisor

• Restoration Certification: Water, Mould, Drying, Fire & Smoke

• MUST have relevant industry experience

• MUST be physically fit & able to do labour intensive work

• MUST be able to work at heights

• MUST be able to work an on-call rotating roster

• MUST be able to work after hours, weekends & sometimes away from home

• MUST be within a reasonable travel distance to our branch locations

• Salary range of 75k to 80k, based on experience & qualifications
