Customer Service Officer - Mt Isa, QLD

The Role

We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join our Mt Isa Branch team!

This is a sales-focused role where you'll build relationships with customers, provide product guidance, and deliver exceptional service across both trade and industrial environments. Creating a great customer service experience, your ability to understand their requirements, recommend suitable solutions, and create a positive customer experience will be key to your success.

This is a full- time permanent opportunity.

What You'll Be Doing

Provide outstanding customer service and sales support to trade and industrial customersBuild strong relationships with both business and retail customers, identifying opportunities to add valueAssist customers with product enquiries, quotations, and solution-based recommendationsProcess sales transactions and support customers throughout their purchasing journeySupport stock replenishment, inventory management, and merchandising activitiesOperate a forklift safely to move and manage stock as requiredIdentify and escalate customer or operational issues when required

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

Experience in industrial sales , customer service, and/or a similar capacityStrong communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-first mindsetA proactive, reliable, and team-oriented approachA current Forklift Licence (LF) is preferredExperience working with industrial, safety, maintenance, or trade products is an advantageValues and integrity aligned with Blackwoods
