Daily tasks and responsibilities:

• The Fuel Station Attendant is required to perform open procedures which include turning on the Fuel pumps for operation and setting up the location with the required fire extinguishers and spill kits. Conversely, they are also required to perform close procedures to turn off the Fuel pumps and clear up the location of fire extinguishers and spill kits. The Fuel Station Attendant is required to be constantly standing to observe pumps for problems, assist and educate members as needed and direct traffic. They perform daily inspections of all equipment, routine maintenance including changing filters and nozzles and changes open and closed signs daily. The Fuel Station Attendant may be required to kneel or squat to clean Fuel spills using neutralizing agent and/or absorbing cloth and dispose of the material properly. Whilst monitoring fuel deliveries fine hand movements are required to sign delivery receipts and load pump receipt tape and ribbons. The Fuel Station Attendant is constantly cleaning the station, including dispensers, data shed, islands, pavement, and trash as well as enforcing National fire codes and Costco safety policies, e.g. no smoking, ignition turned off, filling storage containers. When required the Fuel Station Attendant will respond to alarms appropriately and use the fire extinguisher if necessary. Some driving is required to research area competitive pricing using private vehicle; keys report into computer daily. Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.

Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery:

• Gas pumps, card reader, spill kit, computer, 2-way radio, phone, fire extinguisher, Reacher/grabber, ladder and private Vehicle.

Experience, skills, education & licenses/certifications

Required:

• Valid Drivers License required.
